Frank H. Dale produce bespoke in-house designs for both simple and complex projects.
We offer both a partial design service with design of connections only for Engineer designed projects, as well as a full Design and Build project design with close collaborative working with the architect.
We also assist our sales team with support and design advice during tender stage.
Our design experience extends over many years within the industry, with project analysis and calculations undertaken by either graduate or fully chartered engineers. We have invested in the latest steelwork design software, with full 3D modelling capability and BIM compatibility. Our design expertise coupled with our product and material knowledge will result in compliant designs, with minimum steel usage, low on-site programme times and a significantly reduced carbon footprint, whilst constantly watching the commercial aspect reviewing value engineering options throughout the design stage.
We have always been at the forefront of CAD and 3D design technology, immediately recognising the benefit of automatically generated drawings, accurate section listing and steel ordering information through to final workshop data and CAM files.
All structures are modelled within a 3D environment to ensure steel sections can be manufactured and delivered in sequence and to programme, but most importantly, can be erected to tolerance on site to achieve the quality standard on which Frank H. Dale have built their reputation.
