Welder / Fabricator – Leominster, Herefordshire

The Role
Due to continued growth and investment in our state-of-the-art fabrication facility, we are looking to recruit Welders and Fabricators to join our Production team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a leading structural steel fabricator involved in projects across the UK.
You will work within our fabrication workshop, carrying out welding and fabrication activities in line with production schedules while maintaining high standards of quality, productivity and safety. Full training will be provided where required to ensure work is undertaken within a productive, quality-driven and safe working environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out welding and fabrication activities in line with production schedules
- Read and work from fabrication drawings and specifications
- Produce structural steelwork to the required quality standards
- Ensure work is completed safely and in accordance with company procedures
- Maintain high levels of productivity while achieving required quality standards
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to meet production and project deadlines
- Use workshop equipment and machinery safely and correctly
- Report quality, production or safety issues through the appropriate channels
- Maintain a clean and organised working environment
Requirements
- Experience within structural steelwork, welding or fabrication preferred
- Relevant welding and fabrication skills
- Ability to read fabrication drawings would be advantageous
- Strong work ethic and commitment to quality and safety
- Reliable, organised and able to work effectively as part of a team
- Willingness to learn and develop – full training will be provided where required
Working Hours
- Rotating Morning/Afternoon shifts: 06:00–14:00 and 14:00–22:00 on a weekly rotation
- Full-time position with guaranteed contracted hours

Tekla Detailer – Leominster, Herefordshire

The Role
The drawing office is at the heart of everything we do and we are looking for an experienced Tekla detailer to join our award-winning Herefordshire based team.
You will be responsible for all aspects of the CAD modelling process, including the production of drawings and data for our production facility and site teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Liaise with other members of the FHD team to produce accurate and fully coordinated 3d models
- Production of general arrangement drawings and site erection drawings
- The swift and efficient production of fabrication drawings and details
- Creation of data exchange packages using Trimble Connect, Strumis and Fieldwire
- Working alongside our team of design and project engineers to ensure that deadlines and milestones are met.
- Support effective communication between contracts, production and site teams
- Assist with resolving site issues and coordinating corrective actions where required
- Maintain strong working relationships internally and externally to support successful project delivery
Requirements
- Familiarity with using Tekla structures (minimum 3 years)
- Experience within construction or, more specifically, the structural steelwork industry
- Strong communication and coordination skills
- Organised, with strong attention to detail
- A problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
- Strong IT and administrative skills
- Ability to work collaboratively across internal and external teams

Project Engineer – Leominster, Herefordshire

The Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a Project Engineer to join our Technical team. Reporting directly to the Technical Director, you will play a key role in progressing projects from sales through design and detailing into production and installation.
You will liaise with Main Contractors, Architects, Engineers, suppliers and subcontractors to ensure technical information is coordinated effectively and projects are delivered accurately, efficiently and in line with programme requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Liaise with Main Contractors and Project Design Teams to coordinate technical information
- Develop project-specific details and solutions based on technical information in line with company systems and client requirements
- Ensure information is available for design calculations and detailing to progress on programme
- Ensure that pre-agreed internal and external deadlines are met.
- Obtain approvals from Project Design Teams where required
- Accurately record discussions, agreements and project changes
- Communicate programme or cost implications through the appropriate channels
- Produce and review outgoing technical information to ensure quality and accuracy
- Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors including decking, cladding and door contractors
- Work closely with CAD Operators, Design Engineers and Commercial teams
- Support effective communication between Contracts, Production and Site teams
- Assist with resolving site issues and coordinating corrective actions where required
- Maintain strong working relationships internally and externally to support successful project delivery
Requirements
- Experience within construction or structural steelwork preferred
- Technical understanding of fabrication drawings and specifications
